Burayda reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not take ill omens from anything, but whenever he intended to visit a woman, he would ask about her name. If it was pleasant, joy would show on his face, and if it was unpleasant, that too would show on his face. Likewise, when he sent a man on an errand, he would ask about his name. If the name was good, Bishr would appear on his face, and if it was unpleasant, that would show on his face.

حدثنا عبد الصمد حدثنا هشام عن قتادة

عن عبد الله بن بريدة عن أبيه قال

كان رسول الله ﷺ لا يتطير من شيء ولكنه كان إذا أراد أن يأتي امرأة سأل عن اسمها فإن كان حسنا رئي البشر في وجهه وإن كان قبيحا رئي ذلك في وجهه وكان إذا بعث رجلا سأل عن اسمه فإن كان حسن الاسم رئي البشر في وجهه وإن كان قبيحا رئي ذلك في وجهه
