He reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led them in two rakahs, then stood up without sitting between them, and the people stood with him. When he had prayed the final two rakahs, the people waited for him to give the closing salutation, but he said the takbir and prostrated, then said the takbir and prostrated again, and then gave the salutation.
حدثنا عبد الرزاق وابن بكر قالا حدثنا ابن جريج أخبرني ابن شهاب أن عبد الرحمن بن هرمز الأعرج أخبره
أنه أخبره أن رسول الله ﷺ صلى لهم ركعتين ثم قام ولم يقعد فيهما فقام الناس معه فلما صلى الركعتين الأخريين انتظر الناس تسليمه فكبر فسجد ثم كبر فسجد ثم سلم
