The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in a prayer which we thought was the afternoon prayer. He stood up after the second rakah without sitting, and just before giving the closing salam, he performed two prostrations.

صلى بنا رسول الله ﷺ صلاة نظن أنها العصر فقام في الثانية لم يجلس فلما كان قبل أن يسلم سجد سجدتين
