He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up after the second rakah of the noon prayer and forgot to sit. When he finished his prayer and was about to give the salam, he performed two prostrations and then concluded with the salam.
حدثنا محمد بن فضيل حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن عبد الرحمن الأعرج أن
أخبره أن رسول الله ﷺ قام في الثنتين من الظهر نسي الجلوس حتى إذا فرغ من صلاته إلى أن يسلم سجد سجدتين ثم ختم بالتسليم
