The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The gravest form of misappropriation in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection is a cubit of land lying between two men, or between two partners in a house. When they divide it and one of them steals a cubit of land from his companion, he will be encircled with it from seven earths."
