The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If it exists anywhere, it is in the horse, the woman, and the dwelling," meaning ill omen.
حدثنا روح وإسماعيل بن عمر قالا حدثنا مالك عن أبي حازم
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن كان ففي الفرس والمرأة وفي المسكن يعني الشؤم
Its isnad is sahih. It was mentioned earlier at greater length, and it is found in Bukhari 6/60 no. 2859 in Fath al-Bari, in the chapter on jihad, and in the chapter on marriage 9/137 no. 5095, and in Muslim 4/1748 no. 2225 in the chapter on greetings, and in Tirmidhi no. 2824, and in Abdul-Razzaq 19527, and in Malik in the chapter on seeking permission 2/972 no. 21, and in Ibn Majah 1994, and in Tabarani in al-Kabir 6/192, and in Tahawi in Sharh Maani 4/313.
