Ubada bin Samit reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Abdal in this nation are thirty, like Ibrahim, the intimate friend of the Most Merciful . Whenever one of them dies, Allah replaces him with another man."My father, may Allah have mercy on him, said regarding this, meaning the hadith of Abdul-Wahhab, that there is other wording besides this, and it is a rejected narration, meaning the hadith.
