Ubada bin Samit reported,

He told them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no soul on earth that dies and has goodness awaiting it with Allah that would wish to return to you, even if it were given the entire world, except for the martyr, for he wishes to return and be killed once more."

حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا ابن جريج قال قال سليمان بن موسى حدثنا كثير بن مرة أن

حدثهم أن رسول الله ﷺ قال ما على الأرض من نفس تموت ولها عند الله عز وجل خير تحب أن ترجع إليكم ولها الدنيا إلا القتيل فإنه يحب أن يرجع فيقتل مرة أخرى
