I went in to see Ubada bin Samit while he was dying, and I began to weep.He said, "Gently now, why are you weeping? By Allah, if I am called to testify, I will testify on your behalf, and if I am permitted to intercede, I will intercede for you, and if I am able, I will benefit you."Then he said, "By Allah, there is not a single hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ containing good for you that I have not already related to you, except for one hadith which I will relate to you today, now that my life is drawing to its close. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever bears witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, the Fire is forbidden to him.'"
