We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he said, "People, there will come rulers who will be preoccupied with various matters such that they will not pray the prayer at its proper time. So pray the prayer at its proper time."A man asked, "Messenger of Allah, shall we then pray with them?"He replied, "Yes."Abdullah said, "My father, may Allah have mercy on him, said, 'This is the correct view.'"
حدثنا يعمر يعني ابن بشر أخبرنا عبد الله أخبرنا سفيان عن منصور عن هلال بن يساف عن أبي المثنى الحمصي
كنا جلوسا عند رسول الله ﷺ فقال أيها الناس سيجيء أمراء يشغلهم أشياء حتى لا يصلوا الصلاة لميقاتها فصلوا الصلاة لميقاتها فقال رجل يا رسول الله ثم نصلي معهم قال نعم قال عبد الله قال أبي رحمه الله وهذا الصواب
