I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the saying of Allah , "For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter" [Yunus 10:64]. He replied, "It refers to the righteous dream that a Muslim sees or that is seen for him."
Its chain of transmission is hasan, but some scholars did not confirm that Abu Salama actually heard from Ubadah directly. Tirmidhi's version contains an explicit statement from Abu Salama that he said, "I was informed on the authority of Ubadah." Despite this, Tirmidhi still graded it hasan. Ibn Majah's version is like Ahmad's.The hadith appears in Tirmidhi 4/534, number 2275, in the chapter on dreams, where he said it is hasan. It also appears in Ibn Majah, in the chapter on the interpretation of dreams, 2/1283, number 3898, in Darimi 2/165, number 2136, and in Malik's chapter on dreams, 2/958, number 5.
