Abu Qatada reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever sees a dream that pleases him should share it, for it is good news from Allah . But whoever sees a dream that he dislikes should not share it. Let him spit lightly to his left and seek refuge with Allah from its evil."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال من رأى رؤيا تعجبه فليحدث بها فإنها بشرى من الله عز وجل ومن رأى رؤيا يكرهها فلا يحدث بها وليتفل عن يساره ويتعوذ بالله من شرها
