The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent us out toward the seacoast during one of his journeys to Mecca, and he promised to meet us at Qudayd. We set out, some of us in the state of ihram and some not. I was not in ihram. He then mentioned the hadith, in which he said, "This foreleg, I have roasted it, cooked it through, and seasoned it well."He said, "Bring it here."So I brought it to him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ tore into it with his teeth while he was in the state of ihram, until he finished it.
