A man asked the Prophet ﷺ, "Which of the martyrs is the most excellent?"He replied, "Those who, when they meet the enemy in the battle line, do not turn their faces away until they are killed. They will roam in the highest chambers of Paradise, and their Lord will laugh at them. When your Lord laughs at a servant in this world, there is no reckoning upon him."
حدثنا الحكم بن نافع حدثنا إسماعيل بن عياش عن بحير بن سعد عن خالد بن معدان عن كثير بن مرة
أن رجلا سأل النبي ﷺ أي الشهداء أفضل قال الذين إن يلقوا في الصف يلفتون وجوههم حتى يقتلوا أولئك ينطلقون في الغرف العلى من الجنة ويضحك إليهم ربهم وإذا ضحك ربك إلى عبد في الدنيا فلا حساب عليه
