Abu Umama reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "No man is placed in charge of ten or more people except that he will come before Allah on the Day of Resurrection with his hand chained to his neck. Either his righteousness will release him or his sin will destroy him. Its beginning is blame, its middle is regret, and its end is disgrace on the Day of Resurrection."

عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال ما من رجل يلي أمر عشرة فما فوق ذلك إلا أتى الله عز وجل مغلولا يوم القيامة يده إلى عنقه فكه بره أو أوبقه إثمه أولها ملامة وأوسطها ندامة وآخرها خزي يوم القيامة
