Had I not heard it from the Prophet ﷺ at least seven times, I would not have narrated it. He said, "When a man performs ablution as he has been commanded, sin departs from his hearing, his sight, his hands, and his feet."
حدثنا معاوية بن عمرو حدثنا زائدة عن عاصم عن شهر بن حوشب
لو لم أسمعه من النبي ﷺ إلا سبع مرار ما حدثت به قال إذا توضأ الرجل كما أمر ذهب الإثم من سمعه وبصره ويديه ورجليه
