The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was cupped while fasting and in the state of ihram for Hajj, and he fainted. For this reason, cupping is disliked for one who is fasting.
حدثنا نصر بن باب عن الحجاج عن الحكم عن مقسم
أن رسول الله ﷺ احتجم صائما محرما فغشي عليه قال فلذلك كره الحجامة للصائم
