The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed tawaf around the Kaaba, touching the Black Stone with his Mihjan staff. After he finished, he came to the watering station where his cousins were drawing water and said, "Hand me some."A bucket was raised up to him, and he drank from it. Then he said, "Were it not that people would take this as a ritual and overwhelm you in doing it, I would have drawn water along with you."Then he went out and walked between Safa and Marwa.
حدثنا نصر بن باب أبو سهل في شوال سنة إحدى وثمانين ومائة عن الحجاج عن الحكم عن مقسم
طاف رسول الله ﷺ بالبيت وجعل يستلم الحجر بمحجنه ثم أتى السقاية بعدما فرغ وبنو عمه ينزعون منها فقال ناولوني فرفع له الدلو فشرب ثم قال لولا أن الناس يتخذونه نسكا ويغلبونكم عليه لنزعت معكم ثم خرج فطاف بين الصفا والمروة
