It was mentioned in the presence of Ibn Abbas that a dog, a donkey, and a woman cut off the prayer.He said, "What an evil thing you have done, equating a Muslim woman with a dog and a donkey. I myself once came riding on a donkey while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was leading the people in prayer. When I drew near him, facing him, I dismounted and let the donkey go, then joined the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in his prayer. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ neither repeated his prayer nor reproached me for what I had done.And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was once leading the people in prayer when a young girl came weaving through the rows until she sought refuge with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He neither repeated his prayer nor rebuked her for what she had done.And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was once praying in a mosque when a young goat came out from one of the chambers of the Prophet ﷺ and started to pass in front of him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ blocked it."Ibn Abbas then said, "Why don't you say, then, that a young goat cuts off the prayer?"

ذكر عند ابن عباس يقطع الصلاة الكلب والحمار والمرأة قال بئسما عدلتم بامرأة مسلمة كلبا وحمارا لقد رأيتني أقبلت على حمار ورسول الله ﷺ يصلي بالناس حتى إذا كنت قريبا منه مستقبله نزلت عنه وخليت عنه ودخلت مع رسول الله ﷺ في صلاته فما أعاد رسول الله ﷺ صلاته ولا نهاني عما صنعت ولقد كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي بالناس فجاءت وليدة تخلل الصفوف حتى عاذت برسول الله ﷺ فما أعاد رسول الله ﷺ صلاته ولا نهاها عما صنعت ولقد كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي في مسجد فخرج جدي من بعض حجرات النبي ﷺ فذهب يجتاز بين يديه فمنعه رسول الله ﷺ قال ابن عباس أفلا تقولون الجدي يقطع الصلاة
