Whenever the table was cleared, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say, "Praise be to Allah, abundant, wholesome, and blessed praise. A praise that cannot be repaid, nor abandoned, nor done without, our Lord."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن ثور عن خالد بن معدان
كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا رفعت المائدة قال الحمد لله كثيرا طيبا مباركا فيه غير مكفي ولا مودع ولا مستغنى عنه ربنا
