The Prophet ﷺ said, "The most enviable of people in my eyes is a believing servant of light burden who has a portion of prayer, who obeys his Lord and worships Him well in private, who is obscure among people and not pointed to with fingers, and whose sustenance is just enough, whose sustenance is just enough."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then tapped with his two fingers and continued, "Whose sustenance is just enough, whose sustenance is just enough. His death comes swiftly, his mourners are few, and his estate is small."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, I asked my father, "What is meant by his estate?" He replied, "His inheritance."
حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم أخبرنا ليث بن أبي سليم عن عبيد الله عن القاسم
عن النبي ﷺ قال إن أغبط الناس عندي عبد مؤمن خفيف الحاذ ذو حظ من صلاة أطاع ربه وأحسن عبادته في السر وكان غامضا في الناس لا يشار إليه بالأصابع وكان عيشه كفافا وكان عيشه كفافا قال وجعل رسول الله ﷺ ينقر بأصبعيه وكان عيشه كفافا وكان عيشه كفافا فعجلت منيته وقلت بواكيه وقل تراثه قال أبو عبد الرحمن سألت أبي قلت ما تراثه قال ميراثه
