The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about a man who died leaving behind a Dinar or two Dinars, "That means one branding or two brandings for him."
Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Rahman is Ibn Maysara Hadrami, from Sham, of Homs. Ajli and Ibn Hibban rated him trustworthy, while Ibn Madini considered him unknown, and they said he is one of the teachers of Hurayz bin Uthman. Hurayz bin Uthman only narrates from trustworthy narrators, as Abu Dawud said. The hadith was mentioned previously at 22072.
