Abdul-Wahhab reported that Abu Umama Himsi, a companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Ablution wipes away what came before it, and the prayer that follows becomes a voluntary act of merit."He was asked, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ yourself?"He replied, "Yes, not just once, nor twice, nor three times, nor four, nor five."
