The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was praying and saying in his supplication, "Allah, I ask You for patience."He said, "You have asked for affliction, so ask Allah for well-being instead."Then he passed by another man who was saying, "Allah, I ask You for the completion of Your blessing."He said, "Son of Adam, do you know what the completion of blessing is?"The man replied, "Messenger of Allah, it is a supplication I made, hoping for good through it."He said, "The completion of blessing is deliverance from the Fire and entry into Paradise."Then he passed by a man who was saying, "Possessor of Majesty and Honor."He said, "Your prayer has been answered, so ask."

أن رسول الله ﷺ أتى على رجل وهو يصلي وهو يقول في دعائه اللهم إني أسألك الصبر قال سألت البلاء فسل الله العافية قال وأتى على رجل وهو يقول اللهم إني أسألك تمام نعمتك فقال ابن آدم هل تدري ما تمام النعمة قال يا رسول الله دعوة دعوت بها أرجو بها الخير قال فإن تمام النعمة فوز من النار ودخول الجنة وأتى على رجل وهو يقول يا ذا الجلال والإكرام فقال قد استجيب لك فسل
