The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Six are among the signs of the Hour. My death, the conquest of Jerusalem, a plague that strikes people like the disease that decimates sheep, a tribulation whose strife enters the home of every Muslim, that a man be given a thousand Dinar yet remain dissatisfied with it, and that the Romans betray their treaty and march under eighty banners, with twelve thousand soldiers beneath each banner."
Its chain of transmission is daif, because of Nahhas bin Qahm, and because of the break between Shaddad and Muaz, for they said that Shaddad did not hear from Muaz. But the hadith is sahih, as will come from Awf bin Malik. Hakim mentioned it in 4/422-423 and graded it sahih according to the standard of the two Shaykhs, and Dhahabi agreed with him. Tabarani also related the hadith in Al-Kabir 20/122 number 244 and 20/173 number 268, and Haythami graded it daif in 7/222 because of Nahhas.
