I went in to see Mukhtar, and he threw down a cushion for me and said, "Were it not that my brother Jibreel just rose from this cushion, I would have laid it down for you."I was about to strike off his head, but then I recalled a hadith that my brother Amr bin Hamiq had narrated to me. He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whenever a believer grants another believer security over his life and then kills him, I am free of the killer."
