Its isnad is sahih. Abu Qilaba, with a kasra on the qaf and a light lam, is Jarmi, with a fatha on the jim and a sakin on the ra, whose name was Abdullah bin Zayd. He was one of the prominent scholars, a trustworthy tabii who narrated many hadiths.The hadith was mentioned by Hafiz in Fath al-Bari, 803, where he said, Bayhaqi reported it and its narrators are trustworthy, except that there is doubt about whether it is a raised report, and what is preserved is that it is a stopped report. Bayhaqi also reported it through another route, stating decisively that it is a stopped report attributed to Ibn Abbas.The two isnads appear in Bayhaqi, 3:164. The first is through the route of Sulayman bin Harb from Hammad bin Zayd, and the second is through the route of Hajjaj bin Minhal from Hammad bin Salama. See 1874.
