He came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then set out returning from him and passed by a group of people who had a madman among them bound in iron chains. His family said, "We have been told that this companion of yours has come with good. Does he have anything to treat him with?"He said, "So I recited over him the Opening of the Book." Waki said, "For three days, twice each day," and he was cured. They gave me a hundred sheep. I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him, and he said, "Take them. By my life, whoever consumes payment from a false incantation, you have consumed payment from a true one."
