The Messenger of Allah ﷺ departed from Arafah with me riding behind him. He kept reining in his mount so tightly that the back of its neck nearly touched the front of the saddle, and he was saying, "People, maintain calm and dignity, for righteousness does not lie in driving the camels hard."
حدثنا أبو كامل حدثنا حماد عن قيس بن سعد عن عطاء عن ابن عباس
أفاض رسول الله ﷺ من عرفة وأنا رديفه فجعل يكبح راحلته حتى أن ذفرها لتكاد تصيب قادمة الرحل وهو يقول يا أيها الناس عليكم السكينة والوقار فإن البر ليس في إيضاع الإبل
