He was reporting to Saad that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you hear of the plague in a land, do not enter it, and if it breaks out in a land while you are there, do not leave it."I asked, "Did you yourself hear him reporting this to Saad while Saad did not deny it?"He replied, "Yes."

يحدث سعدا أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا سمعتم بالطاعون بأرض فلا تدخلوها وإذا وقع بأرض وأنتم بها فلا تخرجوا منها قال قلت أنت سمعته يحدث سعدا وهو لا ينكر قال نعم
