He reported that the Prophet ﷺ rode a donkey fitted with a saddle covered by a Fadak velvet cloth, with Usama bin Zayd seated behind him, on his way to visit Saad bin Ubada among Banu Khazraj before the Battle of Badr. He mentioned the account and said, "al-Bahrah."
حدثنا أبو اليمان أنا شعيب عن الزهري أخبرني عروة بن الزبير أن
أخبره أن النبي ﷺ ركب حمارا على إكاف عليه قطيفة فدكية وأردف أسامة بن زيد وراءه يعود سعد بن عبادة في بني الخزرج قبل وقعة بدر فذكره وقال البحرة
