I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say that Allah said, "Then We bequeathed the Book to those We chose from among Our servants. Among them is one who wrongs himself, one who takes a middle course, and one who is foremost in good deeds by Allah's permission" [Fatir 35:32].As for those who are foremost in good deeds, they are the ones who will enter Paradise without reckoning. As for those who took a middle course, they will be called to an easy account. As for those who wronged themselves, they are the ones who will be detained throughout the long span of the gathering, then Allah will reach them with His mercy. They are the ones who will say, "Praise be to Allah, who has removed from us all sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative," up to His words, "nor does weariness touch us" [Fatir 35:34–35].
حدثنا إسحاق بن عيسى حدثني أنس بن عياض الليثي أبو ضمرة عن موسى بن عقبة عن علي بن عبد الله الأزدي
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول قال الله عز وجل {ثم أورثنا الكتاب الذين اصطفينا من عبادنا فمنهم ظالم لنفسه ومنهم مقتصد ومنهم سابق بالخيرات بإذن الله} فأما الذين سبقوا بالخيرات فأولئك الذين يدخلون الجنة بغير حساب وأما الذين اقتصدوا فأولئك يحاسبون حسابا يسيرا وأما الذين ظلموا أنفسهم فأولئك الذين يحبسون في طول المحشر ثم هم الذين تلافاهم الله برحمته فهم الذين يقولون {الحمد لله الذي أذهب عنا الحزن إن ربنا لغفور شكور} إلى قوله {لغوب}
