I recited Surah an-Najm to the Prophet ﷺ, and he did not perform the prostration.
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن ابن أبي ذئب عن يزيد بن قسيط عن عطاء بن يسار
قرأت على النبي ﷺ النجم فلم يسجد
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Yazid bin Qusayt is named after his grandfather, and he is Yazid bin Abdullah bin Qusayt, a well-known, trustworthy narrator whose hadith is accepted by the group of hadith scholars. The reports differ regarding the sujud in Surah Najm, and the hadith scholars have mentioned both views.
