Abu Dharr reported,

He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When one of you loves his companion, let him go to his home and tell him that he loves him for the sake of Allah . And I have come to love you, so I have come to you in your home."

حدثنا حسن حدثنا ابن لهيعة حدثنا يزيد بن أبي حبيب أن أبا سالم الجيشاني أتى أبا أمية في منزله فقال إني سمعت

أبا ذر يقول

إنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول إذا أحب أحدكم صاحبه فليأته في منزله فليخبره أنه يحبه لله عز وجل وقد أحببتك فجئتك في منزلك
