Abu Dharr met Abu Hurayrah, and Abu Hurayrah had what I think he said was the pommel of his sword made of silver. Abu Dharr rebuked him for it and said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no person," or he said, "no one, who leaves behind gold or silver but that he will be branded with it."

Its isnad is daif, due to the anonymity of the narrator who transmitted from Abu Najih. Tabari related the hadith in his tafsir (10/84) through several chains of transmission, one of which is sahih. It is also found in Bayhaqi (4/144).
