The Prophet ﷺ struck his thigh and said to him, "How will you be when you find yourself among people who delay the prayer past its proper time?"Then he said, "Pray the prayer at its appointed time, then go about your business. If you happen to be in the mosque when the congregational prayer begins, then pray with them."
حدثنا أبو عامر حدثنا شعبة عن بديل بن ميسرة قال سمعت أبا العالية البراء عن عبد الله بن الصامت
أن النبي ﷺ ضرب فخذه وقال له كيف أنت إذا بقيت في قوم يؤخرون الصلاة ثم قال صل الصلاة لوقتها ثم انهض فإن كنت في المسجد حتى تقام الصلاة فصل معهم
