I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was wearing a white garment, and he was asleep. I came to him again to speak with him, but he was still asleep. Then I came to him after he had awakened, and I sat down beside him.He said, "There is no servant who says, 'There is no god but Allah,' and then dies upon that, except that he enters Paradise."I asked, "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals?"He replied, "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals."I asked again, "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals?"He replied, "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals."This happened three times, and on the fourth he added, "Despite the displeasure of Abu Dharr."Abu Dharr then went out, dragging his lower garment, saying, "Even if it displeases Abu Dharr."Abu Dharr used to relate this hadith afterward and would say, "Even if it displeases Abu Dharr."
حدثنا عبد الصمد حدثني أبي حدثنا حسين عن ابن بريدة أن يحيى بن يعمر حدثه أن أبا الأسود الديلي حدثه أن
أتيت رسول الله ﷺ وعليه ثوب أبيض فإذا هو نائم ثم أتيته أحدثه فإذا هو نائم ثم أتيته وقد استيقظ فجلست إليه فقال ما من عبد قال لا إله إلا الله ثم مات على ذلك إلا دخل الجنة قلت وإن زنى وإن سرق قال وإن زنى وإن سرق قلت وإن زنى وإن سرق قال وإن زنى وإن سرق ثلاثا ثم قال في الرابعة على رغم أنف أبي ذر قال فخرج أبو ذر يجر إزاره وهو يقول وإن رغم أنف أبي ذر قال فكان أبو ذر يحدث بهذا بعد ويقول وإن رغم أنف أبي ذر
