We were returning from a funeral when we passed by Abu Dharr, who said, "We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and the muezzin wanted to call the adhan for the noon prayer.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Wait until it cools down.'Then he wanted to call the adhan again, and he said to him, 'Wait until it cools down.'"The third time, according to what Shuba was most certain of, the Prophet ﷺ said to him to wait until they saw the shadows of the hillocks.He said, "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'The intensity of the heat is from the blast of Hell, so when the heat becomes severe, delay the prayer until it cools down.'"
حدثنا عفان حدثنا شعبة عن مهاجر أبو الحسن قال سمعت
جئنا من جنازة فمررنا بأبي ذر فقال كنا مع رسول الله ﷺ في سفر فأراد المؤذن أن يؤذن للظهر فقال رسول الله ﷺ أبرد ثم أراد أن يؤذن فقال له أبرد والثالثة أكبر علمي شعبة قال له حتى رأينا فيء التلول قال قال إن شدة الحر من فيح جهنم فإذا اشتد الحر فأبردوا بالصلاة
