Abu Dharr reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah عز وجل says, 'My servants, every one of you is a sinner except those I have preserved, so seek My forgiveness and I will forgive you. Whoever knows that I have the power to forgive and then asks My forgiveness by that power of Mine, I forgive him and think nothing of it. Every one of you is astray except those I have guided, so seek My guidance and I will guide you. Every one of you is poor except those I have enriched, so ask of Me and I will enrich you.If the first of you and the last of you, the living among you and the dead, the fresh among you and the withered, all came together upon the most wretched heart among the hearts of My servants, that would not diminish My dominion by so much as a gnat's wing. And if they all came together upon the most God-fearing heart of any servant of Mine, that would not increase My dominion by so much as a gnat's wing. And if the first of you and the last of you, the living among you and the dead, the fresh among you and the withered, all came together and every one of them asked of Me until he reached the limit of his longing, and I gave every one of them what he asked, that would diminish Me no more than if one of you passed by the edge of the sea, dipped a needle into it, and then drew it out. Just so, it would take nothing from My dominion. That is because I am generous, glorious, eternally self-sufficient. My giving is a word and My punishment is a word. When I intend a thing, I say to it, "Be," and it is.'"He said, "That is because I am generous, all-possessing, glorious. My giving is but a word."
