We were at the door of Muawiya bin Abu Sufyan, and among us was Abu Dharr. He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Fasting the month of patience and three days of every month equals fasting the entire year, and it removes the rancor of the chest.'"I asked, "What is the rancor of the chest?"He replied, "The whispering of Satan."
حدثنا أبو كامل حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن الأزرق بن قيس
كنا عند باب معاوية بن أبي سفيان وفينا أبو ذر قال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول صوم شهر الصبر وثلاثة أيام من كل شهر صوم الدهر ويذهب مغلة الصدر قال قلت وما مغلة الصدر قال رجس الشيطان
