Abu Dharr reported,

I was walking with the Prophet ﷺ in the lava plain of Madinah one evening, gazing at Mount Uhud, when he said, "Abu Dharr."I replied, "At your service, Messenger of Allah."He said, "It would not please me to have gold equal to Uhud, and for three nights to pass while I still had a single dinar of it left, except a dinar I had set aside to repay a debt. Rather, I would say with it among the servants of Allah like this," and he gestured by scattering with his hand to his right, in front of him, and to his left.Then we walked on, and he said, "Abu Dharr, those who have the most will be those with the least on the Day of Resurrection, except for the one who says like this, and like this, and like this," and he scattered with his hand to his right, in front of him, and to his left.Then we walked on, and he said, "Abu Dharr, stay where you are until I come back to you."He went off until he disappeared from my sight. Then I heard a clamor and voices, and I said to myself, "Perhaps something has happened to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." I was about to follow him, but then I remembered his words, "Do not move until I come back to you," so I waited until he returned.I told him about what I had heard, and he said, "That was Jibreel . He came to me and said, 'Whoever from your community dies without associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise.'"I asked, "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals?"He replied, "Even if he commits adultery and even if he steals."

حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن زيد بن وهب

عن أبي ذر قال

كنت أمشي مع النبي ﷺ في حرة المدينة عشاء ونحن ننظر إلى أحد فقال يا أبا ذر قلت لبيك يا رسول الله قال ما أحب أن أحدا ذاك عندي ذهبا أمسي ثالثة وعندي منه دينار إلا دينارا أرصده لدين إلا أن أقول به في عباد الله هكذا وحثا عن يمينه وبين يديه وعن يساره قال ثم مشينا فقال يا أبا ذر إن الأكثرين هم الأقلون يوم القيامة إلا من قال هكذا وهكذا وهكذا وحثا عن يمينه وبين يديه وعن يساره قال ثم مشينا فقال يا أبا ذر كما أنت حتى آتيك قال فانطلق حتى توارى عني قال فسمعت لغطا وصوتا قال فقلت لعل رسول الله ﷺ عرض له قال فهممت أن أتبعه ثم ذكرت قوله لا تبرح حتى آتيك فانتظرته حتى جاء فذكرت له الذي سمعت فقال ذاك جبريل عليه السلام أتاني فقال من مات من أمتك لا يشرك بالله شيئا دخل الجنة قال قلت وإن زنى وإن سرق قال وإن زنى وإن سرق
