Abu Dharr said, "For me to swear ten times that Ibn Sayyad is the Dajjal is more beloved to me than to swear a single time that he is not."He said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to his mother and said, "Ask her how long she carried him in her womb."So I went to her and asked her, and she said, "I carried him for twelve months."Then he sent me to her again and said, "Ask her about his cry when he was born."So I returned to her and asked her, and she said, "He cried like a one-month-old infant."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "I have hidden something for you."He said, "You have hidden for me the snout of a tawny sheep, and smoke."He meant to say "the smoke" but could not, so he said, "The smo, the smo."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Be gone, you will never surpass your measure."

قال أبو ذر لأن أحلف عشر مرار أن ابن صائد هو الدجال أحب إلي من أن أحلف مرة واحدة أنه ليس به قال وكان رسول الله ﷺ بعثني إلى أمه قال سلها كم حملت به قال فأتيتها فسألتها فقالت حملت به اثني عشر شهرا قال ثم أرسلني إليها فقال سلها عن صيحته حين وقع قال فرجعت إليها فسألتها فقالت صاح صيحة الصبي ابن شهر ثم قال له رسول الله ﷺ إني قد خبأت لك خبئا قال خبأت لي خطم شاة عفراء والدخان قال فأراد أن يقول الدخان فلم يستطع فقال الدخ الدخ فقال رسول الله ﷺ اخسأ فإنك لن تعدو قدرك
Its chain is hasan, because of Harith bin Husayrah. They spoke critically of him, and Muslim placed him below the rank of the reliable memorizers, while Haythami said in 8/2, "Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Harith bin Husayrah, and he is trustworthy."
