The Prophet ﷺ said, "The sun sets beneath the Throne, then permission is granted for it to return. But on the night whose morning will see it rise from the west, permission will not be granted, and when morning comes it will be told, 'Rise from where you are.'"Then he recited, "Are they waiting for anything except that the angels should come to them, or your Lord should come, or some of the signs of your Lord should come?" [Anam 6:158].

أن النبي ﷺ قال تغيب الشمس تحت العرش فيؤذن لها فترجع فإذا كانت تلك الليلة التي تطلع صبيحتها من المغرب لم يؤذن لها فإذا أصبحت قيل لها اطلعي من مكانك ثم قرأ {هل ينظرون إلا أن تأتيهم الملائكة أو يأتي ربك أو يأتي بعض آيات ربك}

Its isnad is sahih. Ibrahim Taymi is Ibn Yazid bin Sharik, a trustworthy narrator whose hadith and that of his father are found among the group of compilers. The hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud 4/37 no. 4002, and Tirmidhi 4/479 no. 2186, who said it is hasan sahih, and with a similar wording in Bukhari 8/541 no. 4802 and 6/297 no. 3199. As you can see, this hadith appears in the sahih collections without any objection to it. Some people, whose eyes Allah has blinded, have claimed that it contradicts astronomy. But this hadith is only speaking of the metaphorical and created sujud, the reality of which is known to none but Allah, the Exalted.
