The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Bilal, leave a breathing space between your adhan and your iqamah, enough for someone eating to finish his meal unhurried, and for someone making wudu to relieve himself without haste."
حدثنا عبد الله حدثني محمد بن عبد الرحيم البزاز أخبرنا قرة بن حبيب أخبرنا معارك بن عباد العبدي أخبرنا عبد الله بن الفضل عن عبد الله بن أبي الجوزاء عن أبي بن كعب أن رسول الله ﷺ قال يا بلال فذكر نحوه
Its chain of transmission is daif, because of Muarik bin Ubbad Abdi, whom they graded as weak, and because of Abdullah bin Abu Jawza, whom they considered unknown. But the hadith is sahih in its wording.
