The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that a man who has relations with his wife while she is menstruating should give a dinar, or half a dinar, in charity.
حدثنا عبد الوهاب عن سعيد عن قتادة عن مقسم عن ابن عباس عن النبي ﷺ مثله ورواه عبد الكريم أبو أمية مثله بإسناده
Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Wahhab is Ibn Ata Khaffaf, who narrated from Saeed bin Abu Aruba, stayed close to him, and was known for his companionship with him. He is trustworthy. Ibn Main, Daraqutni, and others confirmed his reliability. This hadith is a repetition of the one before it. Abdul-Kareem Abu Umaya is Abdul-Kareem bin Abu Mukhariq, and he is daif, as we said in 829. We have already pointed to his narration in our commentary on Tirmidhi.
