I asked Ubayy, "Abu Mundhir, your brother Ibn Masud says, 'Whoever stands the whole year in prayer will catch Laylat al-Qadr.'"He replied, "May Allah have mercy on him. He knew well that it is in the month of Ramadan, and that it is the twenty-seventh night."He then swore an oath to that effect.I asked, "How do you know that?"He answered, "By the sign, or by the indication that we were informed of, that the sun rises that day without any rays."
