Masruq reported,

Khabab bin Arat said, "I was a blacksmith in Makkah, and I used to do work for Aas bin Waail. He built up a debt of some dirhams to me, so I came to collect it from him.He said, "I will not pay you until you renounce Muhammad."I replied, "By Allah, I will not renounce Muhammad ﷺ until you die and then are raised up again."He said, "Then when I am raised up, I shall have wealth and children."So I mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, and Allah revealed, "Have you seen the one who disbelieved in Our signs and said, 'I shall surely be given wealth and children'" up to the words "alone" [Maryam 19:77–80].

حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا سفيان عن الأعمش عن أبي الضحى

عن مسروق قال

قال خباب بن الأرت كنت قينا بمكة فكنت أعمل للعاص بن وائل فاجتمعت لي عليه دراهم فجئت أتقاضاه فقال لا أقضيك حتى تكفر بمحمد قال قلت والله لا أكفر بمحمد ﷺ حتى تموت ثم تبعث قال فإذا بعثت كان لي مال وولد قال فذكرت ذلك للنبي ﷺ فأنزل الله تبارك وتعالى {أفرأيت الذي كفر بآياتنا وقال لأوتين مالا وولدا} حتى بلغ {فردا}
