حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن سليمان قال سمعت عمارة بن عمير يحدث
سألنا خبابا أكان رسول الله ﷺ يقرأ في الظهر قال نعم قال فمن أين كنتم تعلمون قال بتحرك لحيته
Its isnad is sahih. Umara bin Umayr Taymi is trustworthy, and his hadith is reliably established according to the group of scholars. Abu Muamar is Abdullah bin Sakhbara Azdi Kufi, one of the trustworthy senior successors, and his hadith is accepted by the group of scholars.The hadith was narrated by Bukhari, 2/244, no. 760 in Fath, in the chapter on adhan, on recitation during Dhuhr, and by Abu Dawud, 1/211, no. 801, with a similar wording, in the chapter on prayer, and by Ibn Majah, 1/271, no. 826, and by Humaydi, 1/84, no. 156.
