The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the funeral prayer over Ibn Dahdah. Hajjaj said in his version, over Abu Dahdah. Then a bare-backed horse was brought, and a man hobbled it so the Prophet ﷺ could mount it. The horse began to bound along with him while we followed, running behind it.A man from the group said, "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'How many a cluster of dates is hanging or suspended in Paradise for Abu Dahdah!'"Hajjaj said in his narration, a man with us in the gathering at Jabir bin Samura's said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'How many a hanging cluster of dates is there for Abu Dahdah in Paradise!'"
