A mule died, and Hammad bin Salama said it was a she-camel, belonging to a man. He came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeking a ruling. Jabir bin Samura reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to its owner, "Do you have anything else that suffices you without it?"He replied, "No."The Prophet said, "Then go and eat it."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, "The correct version is she-camel."

مات بغل وقال حماد بن سلمة ناقة عند رجل فأتى رسول الله ﷺ يستفتيه فزعم جابر بن سمرة أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لصاحبها أما لك ما يغنيك عنها قال لا قال اذهب فكلها قال أبو عبد الرحمن الصواب ناقة
